Out of the Bag
I attended one of Exmoor Photography's (EP) Dunster Castle photography workshops. It was a beautiful sunny day in May, maybe a little too sunny, if that can ever be the case! We were a group of 4 'pupils' led by very knowledgeable and friendly EP people, Jack and Jamie. We walked around the castle grounds, using various beautiful locations, where they taught us how to use our cameras on many settings other than Auto. Jack provided us each with a bespoke guide covering all aspects of the course.
We had lunch in the Watermill tearoom garden, organised by Alison, before setting off in the afternoon to learn more about F stops, white balance, ISO and many other things, camera related.
We finished the course with a piece or two of Alison's amazing flapjack :)
I have to confess I have been using my mobile phone to take photos in recent years. Since I have been on this course my DSLR camera has been OUT OF THE BAG numerous times.
Thank you to Jack, Alison and Jamie for a friendly, fun and informative day.
